Every year Step by Step offers an action packed summer camp experience including all children of all abilities. 

This year is no exception.  The children spend more time out in the community than they do in the building. 

If you are looking for a calm relaxing summer camp this is not the one.

The groups meet at Step by Step at 9:00 and don’t usually return until 2:30 on the dot.

Each group has an experience intervention leader who has led summer camp in previous years.  Almost all our summer camp staff returns each year.   Each group has no more than 12 campers and up to 3 camp counselors a 1:4 ratio.

 All children need to bring enough food for a full day of activities, sunscreen and wear appropriate attire for the activities.

How does Regional funding work? 

Regional center covers partial funding for children who qualify. Parents are responsible for the remaining amount.  Due to budget constraints the regional center will require a higher parent share of cost this year.  Please contact your service coordinator early as funds will run out.

Applications for Scholarships must be received after Regional Center Funding is authorized and prior to June 1, 2009.  Time is of the essence.
